Software Development Manager & Full-Stack .NET Developer
My interest in software didn't start with writing code — it started with understanding how to break it. An early background in pen testing and system exploitation gave me a perspective most developers don't have: seeing software through an attacker's eyes before ever building any of my own. That curiosity about how systems worked — and where they failed — is what eventually pulled me toward building them.
I joined SCI, LLC in 2018 as a support agent and made the jump into development in 2019, largely self-driven. Since then I've built and maintained in-house systems, full REST APIs, and public-facing web and mobile applications across the full stack — from SQL Server schema design and query optimization to .NET Core APIs and Bootstrap-styled Razor Pages and Blazor portals. In 2023 I was promoted to Software Development Manager, where I lead our engineering team and mentor junior developers on our stack.
In December 2025 I enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve, and I'm currently in the Development and Training Flight ahead of shipping to BMT in September 2026. I attend monthly UTA drills at Wright-Patterson AFB and will be training as a Cryptologic Analyst (1N4) with the 655th ISRg — a path that connects directly back to the security roots that got me into this field in the first place.
When I'm not in the office, I'm usually enjoying media, working on home projects, or chasing something outdoors. I've always been drawn to activities that push limits — whether that's dropping out of a plane at 14,000 feet, navigating a technical trail on two wheels, or charging down a mountain on a board. That same drive to go further and push harder is what keeps me growing as a developer and a leader.
