Privacy Policy

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all applications and services created and maintained by Brandon Thomas, including this website and any associated web or mobile applications. Individual applications may include additional detail about their specific data practices within the app itself.

2. Data We Collect and Why

Contact information

When you submit a contact form or reach out directly, your name and email address are collected solely to respond to your message. This information is not used for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose.

Authentication

Applications that require sign-in may receive your name, email address, and profile photo from an identity provider (such as Google). This is used only to identify your account within the app and is never used for marketing or profiling.

User-provided app data

Any data you enter within an application — such as records, settings, or preferences — is stored privately and is only accessible to you. It is never read, analyzed, sold, or shared.

In-app preferences are stored within your private account. They are never shared.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

• Analytics or usage data tied to your identity
• Crash reports tied to your identity
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA or similar)
• Location data
• Device fingerprints or hardware identifiers
• User profiles built from behavioral data
• Financial data beyond what a specific app explicitly requires and documents

4. Third-Party Services

Some applications use third-party services to deliver core functionality. Each operates under its own privacy policy. Common services across my applications may include:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication and private data storage. Privacy policy
• Plaid — Read-only bank data retrieval, used only in apps where you explicitly opt in. Privacy policy
• Capgo — Over-the-air app updates. Receives an anonymous device identifier solely to deliver updates. Privacy policy
• Email delivery services — Used to route contact form submissions. No personal data is stored by these services beyond what is necessary for delivery.
• Cloud hosting (Azure / AWS) — Infrastructure where application data is stored and processed.

Any third-party integrations specific to a given application will be documented within that app.

5. Data Storage and Security

Application data is stored on infrastructure protected by enterprise-grade security. Where Firebase is used, access is restricted by security rules that only allow your authenticated account to read or write your own records. All data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS. Secure coding practices, including strict input validation and sanitization, are applied throughout.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. I take every reasonable precaution, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data persists as long as your account exists or as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. To have your data permanently deleted, email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my data" and I will remove your records and revoke any third-party connections within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

My applications are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of my applications, please contact me so I can remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of any application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
